The Elder Board

At Hope Church, our congregational form of governance results in our Members voting on the calling of the Senior Pastor, voting on major initiatives in the life of the church, voting to approve the proposed annual budget, and voting to select members of an Elder Nominating Committee and the Elder Board.
 
The Elder Board is the primary source of leadership in the church, and is designed to advise the Senior Pastor, protect the doctrinal purity of our church, affirm the spiritual and visionary long-term direction of our church, embody the spiritual values of our church and enforce any necessary spiritual discipline within the congregation.  The Elders empower the Staff to lead all of the ongoing year-to-year leadership, ministry and strategic decisions of the church.
 
Hope Church's annual cycle starts every Sept 1.  This year, our Elders are: Senior Pastor Matt Collins, Chairman Shane Gardner, Treasurer Dan Williams, Secretary Tom Waterman, Bob Tucker and Mark Zimmerman.
