1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I think about my life and all the times I have messed up. I think about all the times I will continue to mess up.

Then I think about the fact the Jesus died on the cross to forgive me for all of that.
It amazes me how much God loves me and that He is willing to forgive so incredibly.

Jesus died for our past, present and future sins. I do not need to be sinless or perfect to come to God. He came to pay for sins. We are forgiven if we are in Christ.

Our relationship with God has been broken because of our sin. God wants that relationship restored. He wants to remove our sins as far as the east is from the west.

Psalm 103:11-12 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Lord, thank you that I am forgiven. Thank you that even though you know everything about me and all I have done, you still call me your child. I love you Lord and praise you for who you are.
