Worry Day 2
Meet Him in the Valley
"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." — Psalm 23:4
We are familiar with this passage, but do we really know what David is saying? He’s talking about going through hard times. David tells us that when we find ourselves in a dark valley, we are not alone.
Oftentimes when we are in a dark place in our life, we feel abandoned and alone. We feel like no one understands and everyone has left us. But David reassures us that we have not been abandoned and we are not alone. God is with us in our darkness.
When life gets dark, when you’re going through hard times, look for Jesus. He understands your fears, doubts and struggles. He is with you.
Father: Thank you that you never leave me and that you will always love me. Help me to look for you in those dark times. Thank you for meeting me when I have nowhere else to turn. Amen.
